This Platinum Protection program offers several distinct benefits, including:
Product Defect Coverage
- TRU PROtection: Coverage includes labor costs to repair/replace defective materials for the first 50 years.
- Materials Only Coverage: After the 50-year TRU PROtection Period is over, the cost of materials remains covered by the Platinum Protection plan for the next 50 years.
- Blow Off Coverage: Once your home’s shingles have been thermally sealed, they will be covered for blow-offs and wind damage for the first 15 years after the original installation date.
- StreakGuard Algae Resistance: 25 years of protection from the date of installation against staining related to Gloeocapsa magma cyanobacteria growth.
Workmanship Coverage
- Coverage Period: Issues related to defective installation receive lifetime coverage, with reduced coverage after 25 years determined by the roof’s age.
