I will start this review by saying that Garcia Roofing is not the least expensive option. I reached out to them because one of my neighbors had used Garcia in the past. From there, I met Daryl, who showed me my options he was very honest and not pushy. The foreman arrived on the job site 30 minutes earlier than promised and waited outside. The work started promptly, and all of the crew were very professional. This was a relatively large job, but they started and completed all of the work in one day. My wife and I had a great experience working with Garcia Roofing. They were great with communication and very quick to get the job done.

From the moment I called for a quote, until the completion of my project, Garcia Roofing provided me with incredible service from top to bottom. They stripped, re-decked, fortified, re-shingled (hand nailing) my entire home in one day. They even completed a side project of redoing a flat roof over my patio and adding a pitch to it for drainage purposes, on that same day. When I got home there was almost no trace that they had been there other than a beautiful new roof. My project manager, Arthur Mitchell, was a consummate professional. He did a through inspection of our existing roof and walked us through the entire process and explained all of our options to us very clearly and did not try to hide anything or upsell us on things we did not need. He regularly checked in with us during the process and made sure we were happy with our service. Our production manager, Derrek Sander, was also extremely professional on the day of construction and in the follow up on our project. The work was done just 2 days after Hurricane Francie passed and we did not even have electricity back when the project was done. Derrek assured me that though there were some obstacles, he would work through them with me to ensure our project was completed, and he delivered everything and more. He texted me throughout the day with updates and even took 260 pictures of the construction throughout process. I have no idea how his team did all of that work in less than 9 hours and left almost no trace that they had even been there. I was totally blown away. Overall I wish I could give Garcia Roofing 6 stars. There are so few companies these days that focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship without playing games, so these folks are a breath of fresh air in this industry. On top of all of this, certainly worthy of noting is that they came in averaging about $3,000 cheaper than the other 4 quotes I got from other area roofing companies. 2 of those other companies gave me quotes using only satellite photos of my home and did not physical inspection, which still baffles me. The only complaint I can give if you want to call it that is when we signed the contract we allowed Arthur to put a "Garcia did my roof" sign in my front yard. The production crew moved it out of the way and did not put it back on the day of construction. So that evening I made sure to put the sign back out there because I am proud of the fact that my home has a Garcia roof!!

I hired Garcia to repair a leak that turned out to be from the starter shingle row being too short. They were the original installer 13 years ago but it did not start giving me trouble until recently. So, this was no longer a warranty job but they came out quickly, got me a fair estimate and had a decent lead time. Anthony did a thorough inspection of my whole roof, showed me all the pictures and recommend one additional repair in the different part of the roof but otherwise did not try to sell me a whole new roof, which I appreciated. On the day of the repairs, the crew of 2 worked professionally, replaced the starter shingle row all around the garage (not just the spot it was leaking), just to prevent future issues, as well as addressed the issue in the other area of the roof. They also replaced and pained my soffit and rehung half round gutters. Overall professional job and aesthetically pleasing result. The repair is hardly visible even with new shingles going up against 10+ year old roof, the carpentry and paint job were excellent too. Anthony came back to inspect the work before I payed any balance due, even though it was a minor job. Based on the interactions I had with Garcia in the past few years, I would recommend them.

Brandon was the Estimator for this repair. He was the best. He explained the repairs and always responded to my calls. He took lots of pictures before and after. The price was reasonable for all the repairs. Jose did the repairs, did a good job and good clean up after. I would use Garcia Roofing again and recomment to friends.

The rating would have been hire but the roofers would have missed installing ridge vents on my back room. We were lucky i was watching my son’s dog and he wanted to go outside. I had to walk him., i saw they were finishing up on the ridge. I told them there is supposed to be a ridge vet up there. They said oh. The problem was we had 4 boxes of ridge vents in the front of the house. They should have started to ask questions, like why is this still here. Who knows what would have happened if the dog didn’t have to go out. The roof does look great though. They did do a good job.

Garcia Roofing recently replaced our roof in April 2024. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond what was expected of them in order to make sure we were satisfied with the work they did. I was extremely impressed with the Garcia employees I dealt with. Taylor Landry came to our home prior to the job starting in order to provide a cost estimate for the work to be done. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, personable and easy to deal with. He answered all the questions I had about the work to be done and went step by step and explained everything that would take place during the roof replacement. I am very particular about how the outside of my home looks and when Garcia was finished replacing the roof, it looked perfect. David Morejon was the project manager that I dealt with throughout the entire process once the roofers got on site. He was excellent to work with. Just like Taylor Landry had been, he was professional, easy to talk to and deal with and extremely knowledgeable. After the roof work was finished, he cleaned the trim around the roof line on the entire house, used a cleaner to remove any blemishes from the work done and also used touch up paint in order to make sure everything looked perfect (and it did). He walked around the entire house more than once picking up any nails and/or other debris left over from the job. He was meticulous in his attention to detail and when he was finished, everything on the entire house was spotless. He went over all of the stucco that is located on the front of our home and used a cleaner in order to get off any small blemishes. Once he finished, it looked new. Even the Garcia roofers made sure to keep everything tidy while working on our roof. And those guys were hard workers. The first day they showed up, they arrived onsite somewhere between 6:30-7:00 a.m. and worked past 7:00 p.m. I can't say enough about the positive impression everyone with Garcia left on me, especially Taylor Landry and David Morejon. I would highly recommend using this team of professionals in order to replace your roof!!!

We had our roof replaced last week by Garcia Roofing. The roof looks beautiful. The guys did an outstanding job. Taylor, the estimator was awesome. Garcia was amazing to work with from start to finish. The quoting process was really easy and clear and our sales person helped us understand all of the options. No pushing us into something we didn’t want. We got a fortified roof with premium shingles. The crew arrived and was super efficient. They had the old roof off in a day and the new one installed in two days. They came in way under budget - when they discover that a large portion of our roof sheeting did not need to be replaced they credited us back for the plywood they didn’t use. Which was a substantial amount. Almost 10% of the job. The crew foreman was there all day every day and kept us up to date on progress. They cleaned up *everything* even a back deck that they weren’t involved in. They also cleaned out the gutters. Our new roof looks gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier. 100% would recommend Garcia Roofing.

Review of Garcia Roofing I live in Mandeville in a house that is approximately 30 years old. My roof was worn and I did my research before contacting Garcia Roofing for an assessment and, ultimately, a proposal to replace. The salesperson was a former roofing company owner and came to my house, climbed on the roof, then reported back to me his findings. He documented three areas of potential failure and also thought overall the roof could last another 2 years or so. I requested a proposal to change now, selected the products that I wanted and he presented me with a firm and written proposal. He also explained the process so I would know what to expect. Garcia Roofing did all that they committed to including keeping me informed of their backlog, delivery date for my materials and dumpster, and introduced me to the jobsite supervisor, Alberto Nunez. An 8-man crew arrived at 6:00 am sharp on the appointed date and went right to work. Alberto arrived soon after and we went over the job to be sure that we were on the same page. There was never any confusion. The crew, lead by Jesus, worked 12+ hour days for 3 consecutive days. They removed the old asphalt shingles, felt paper, nails and drip edge. Then they installed the new drip edge, the valley material and the underlayment. At the end of each day there was never any exposed bare plywood. Alberto visited 2-3 times each day and went on the roof to discuss with Jesus and his crew as well as inspect the surface. The crew only took brief “hydration breaks”, but never left the roof to do so. One man would bring-up a bucket of cold bottled drinks to distribute. By the middle of the third day, the roof shingles and ridge tiles were complete and they spent the next 5 hours cleaning my property. They had laid tarps wherever possible, but that is not perfect. There was a good bit of debris around my home and detached building. One man used a blower to first clear the roof and gutters of debris. Everyone participated in cleaning the grounds and they did a great job. They raked, swept, used magnets to pick-up nails and many of them were on their hands and knees plucking nails from the surface. Alberto returned the next day to make a final inspection and get the last payment. He inspected my attic to be sure there was nothing out of place. I am VERY pleased with the final outcome of my new roof. I have a written guarantee and a dependable roofing contractor I can now call if I ever need service. I want to thank Alberto Nunez for supervision and quality control. And, of course, I want thank Jesus and his team for their meticulous skill, their extraordinary work ethic in the high heat of summer and say that I was fortunate to have these good men on my job. Their representative Josue’ Magana was highly responsive and assisted us with color selection and with locating an additional contractor to spray seal our flat patio roof. The price was very competitive. After having a troubling experience with another well known Baton Rouge roofing company, I was glad that Garcia Roofing was a completely different experience. The first part of my experience was meeting with Darrel Walker and going through his thorough inspection of my roof and over my options of repairing vs replacing. I asked a ton of questions and received all the information I needed to make my decision. The process was informative and stress free. The second part of my experience was the roof replacement process. I really appreciated the constant communication from the project manager, Jose Vargas. Jose was able to keep me up to date on the progress of the project and walk me through the work done afterward. I also received messages from the office project team with updates on material deliveries and repair dates. Going through any major home repair or replacement can be a very stressful task. I really appreciated the time, information, and attention to detail I received from the entire team at Garcia Roofing.

I would also to thank Dustin Mott for doing an exceptional job explaining the entire project. He took the time to take pictures of the roof and then sit down with myself and my wife going over all aspects of the project. He showed us the problems in our roof and then went in detail showing us the materials that the project would require. I had other bids for this project, and no one gave us any details like Dustin. Your bid was not the lowest, but we were so impressed with Dustin's knowledge and presentation that we knew that your company was going to do an excellent job. I would also like to thank Austin Hood, Project Manager, for the excellent job he did making sure every aspect of the job was done correctly. I was impressed how he got up on the roof making sure an excellent job was provided. He kept me abreast during the day as to the progress of the project. He was very aware of safety requirements for this project and made sure the requirements were met. I spent 40 years in government contracting both in the Navy and Army Corps of Engineers. If I only had two individuals like Dustin and Austin working on my projects, my life would have been easier.

Working with Garcia Roofing made our roof replacement simple. Everyone we worked with was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive to our needs. Justin walked us through the estimate process and answered all of our questions, and when it came time for the work Victor was fantastic at keeping us up to date on what was going on.
