A Comprehensive Scope of Work

This was far more than a simple shingle replacement. The project involved a complete system overhaul on a large, complex roof measuring 10,268 square feet with 33 distinct facets. Our team executed a precise, multi-step process to guarantee every detail met the highest standards of quality and durability.

From Tear-Down to Total Rebuild

Our work began with a full tear-off of the old roofing materials. This allowed us to inspect the underlying structure and make necessary preparations.

  • Decking Inspection: We thoroughly re-nailed the roof decking and replaced any damaged wood panels to create a solid, secure foundation for the new system.
  • Advanced Underlayment: We installed a double-underlayment system using Owens Corning RhinoRoof® U20 Synthetic Underlayment for superior water resistance across the entire roof. For added protection in vulnerable areas, we applied Owens Corning RhinoRoof® Granulated Ice and Water Shield in all the valleys.
  • Premium Components: We integrated high-quality copper flashing around all roof accessories and a brown copper drip edge to manage water flow effectively. The roof also received custom copper accessories, including turbine vents and pipe boots, all in a coordinating brown finish.
  • Final Touches: In addition to the roof itself, our work included replacing flashing and repairing stucco on a dormer to ensure a completely weatherproof seal.

The Final Product: A Durable and Distinguished Roof

The outcome of this project is a FORTIFIED roof built to last. The chosen Owens Corning shingles in the special-order “Peppercorn” color provide a sophisticated and modern look. These were complemented by Concrete Hecker Ridge Tiles in a mix of Charcoal, Light Brown, and Dark Brown, adding unique texture and character to the roofline.
