On the Job: Commercial Shingle Roofing Job in Baton Rouge
Garcia Roofing is proud to have been chosen as the roofing contractor for Three Thirty Three Lofts, a new Dantin Bruce development in Baton Rouge. Located just south of LSU’s campus, this development offers a high-end loft living experience within walking distance of the university.
The Installation Process
To begin the project, we first installed ice and water underlayment directly to the decking to insure proper adherence to the surface. We laid Atlas Pro-Cut Starter shingles to help protect the roof’s edge and increase the roof’s wind resistance. Atlas Pristine Weathered Shadow architectural shingles were installed with Atlas GlassMaster capping shingle.
Owens Corning Weatherlock Ice and Water Shield was installed in the valleys and around edges of roof, as well as an Owens Corning Ventsure ridge vent. Custom-made brown metal flashings were added by the walls. Once the roofing job is complete, we will install corrugated wall panels on the front elevation, and seamless K-style gutters and downspouts as needed. These gutters were fabricated on-site by our roofing team.
As always, Garcia Roofing used the strictest safety measures to protect our workers, the property owners, and the property itself, during all work and installation. Be sure to stop by Three Thirty Three Lofts to have a look at our work!
